IT IS BEGINNING TO LOOK MORE AND MORE LIKE "HOW CAN BOCCIERI WIN IN NOVEMBER, 2010?"

The Medina County Democratic Action Committee is in a furor about Congressman John Boccieri (Democrat - 16th Congressional District which includes Stark, Wayne and parts of Ashland and Medina Counties)

In a blog yesterday entitled When A Democratic Congressman Votes Like a Republican, Dems Apparently Shouldn't Get Mad (sic), the Medina County Democratic Action Committee (MCDAC) was responding to a "your giving aid and comfort to the enemy-esque" comment on the blog about reent blogs by the MCDAC critical of Boccieri's voting record on health care.

MCDAC also appears to be taking comfort out of reports coming out of Cleveland that Cleveland area union officials are looking for a more populist candidate to oppose Boccieri in the May 4, 2010 Democratic primary.

The SCPR has long written about how Boccieri seems to waffle, flip-flop, whatever you want to call it on virtually any controversial issue that comes along in Congress.

When the SCPR did not report his press release material in a fashion that Boccieri wanted, he pulled The Report from the list of recipients.

But he didn't pull yours truly from his propaganda mailed out taxpayer expense to the home address.

One of Boccieri's articulated reasons for having problems with federal health care legislation on the brink of passage is "the cost of it."

So John is "a  penny pincher for taxapyers?

Hardly.

Here is a copy of what you and I paid for to have mailed throughout the 16th congressional district.

State Senator Kirk Schuring (Republican - Jackson) is probably kicking himself all over Stark County these days.

"Why in the world didn't I wait unti 2010," he is likely saying to himself.
