SERIES - VOL 1: HARTVILLE SEWAGE - ARE HARTVILLE "RESIDENTIAL" CUSTOMERS HEADING TO $55.00 MONTHLY AS A SEWAGE CHARGE?



The SCPR has learned that in following politics that politicians will fight over just about anything.  And, if there is any doubt about that, Hartville is proving the foregoing statement in spades.

Hartville's administration (Mayor Ed Tucker and his allies on Hartville Council and the Bureau of Public Affairs - "Tuckers") is in a political life and death struggle with is in a gigantic political fight over its sewage with former mayor Bev Green, former clerk-treasurer Anna Erb and former member of council Bruce Klipec, among others.

According to Kilpec, Mayor Tucker is headed down a path nearly doubling residential sewer rates to $55 per month.


And the Tucker move has the Green-led forces ("Greens") hopping mad.

As a second try (a first being deficit), the Greens have forced a referendum defeat the Tucker plan onto the November, 2011 ballot, to wit:


So the battle is on in Hartville.
