Alliance Councilwoman Sue Ryan is the Democratic Party candidate for state representative for the 50th Ohio House District.
Her opponent is Republican Christina Hagan of Marlboro who was appointed to the office by the Ohio Republican House Caucus in March, 2011 when the elected representative (November, 2010) Todd Snitchler resigned to become Governor Kasich's appointed chairman of the Ohio Public Utilities Commission.
The 50th is a heavily Republican indexed district which Hagan helped create in the sense that she voted for the enabling legislation.
Last Wednesday, the Stark County Political Report sat down with Councilwoman Ryan for an in depth videotaped interview.
