DISCUSSION: U.S. SENATOR SHERROD BROWN OFF MESSAGE - IF YOU ARE CELESTE DEHOFF? NOT EXACTLY A RINGING ENDORSEMENT?

On October 26th United States Senator Sherrod Brown was in Stark County as part of an entourage (Strickland, Cordray, Glenn and Brown himself) barnstorming Ohio to endorse candidates running for the Ohio House.

Off camera, Brown does get around to endorsing DeHoff (with a cursory - vote for Celeste DeHoff blurb) as well as a similar entreaty for other local Stark County Democratic candidates, but seemingly as a afterthought.

The STARK COUNTY POLITICAL REPORT (The Report) offers the essence of Brown's remarks which is a lambaste of Republican national policies and programs. Not so much tailored to Ohio and certainly not made germane to DeHoff's race against Republican Todd Snitchler.

The Report supposes Brown's talk was intended to fire up the base who would, in turn, presumably would go out emotionally charged up and blitz Stark County for local candidates.
