Recently the STARK COUNTY POLITICAL REPORT (The Report) presented a video in which Stark County Engineer Mike Rehfus outlined his plan for clearing Stark County roads in the event of a snowstorm?
Well, this weekend Stark County had a doozy. How did our county engineer do?
What's more, how did the road departments do throughout Stark County?
Cities (Canton, Massillon, Alliance, North Canton, Louisville, Minerva, and Canal Fulton); villages (Brewster, East Canton, East Sparta, Hartville, Navarre, Waynesburg, Beach City, and Magnolia) and townships (Paris, Pike, Canton, Bethlemen, Lake, Lawrence, Perry, Tuscarawas, Sugarcreek, Sandy, Osnaburg, Paris, Washington, Lexington, Marlboro, Nimishillen, Plain and Jackson).
Are your tax dollars being spent effectively for you. Let your local government officials know.

Tuscarawas Township was a disgrace. Trustees didn't have a backup plan for a snow storm. They own 4 trucks with 2 drivers. To bad the attorney handling the case against the road crew doesn't have a CDL.
A more relevant question might include how well we did for the costs that were incurred to remove said snow. With all the unemployed private truckers who were unable to haul material this past summer, why not see if their services could save us some money in snow removal this winter. Just a thought.
I agree with the previous comment. My road was not touched until 5 PM. Good thing I have a SUV or I would not been able to get to RiteAid for my mother's medication. It's time to clean house and send the do nothing Tuscarawas Township trustees to the out house where they belong.
