DISCUSSION: MAIER'S "PREFERRED LIST?" WHAT ARE THESE FOLKS UP TO; OTHER THAN TRYING TO GET ELECTED (OR, IN CAMPBELL'S CASE ) RE-ELECTED?

Next time you are out, look for clusters of political signs.

What does one gather (sometimes) from groupings of sign?

The answer: how much campaigns are working with each other, and, when one knows the dynamics of internal political party politics, who lurks in the background giving advice.

The STARK COUNTY POLITICAL REPORT (The Report) believes that the Campbell-Reinbold-Harmon campaigns have joined forces at the recommendation of Stark County Democratic Party chairman Johnnie A. Maier, Jr.

The Report believes that there are ramifications beyond the election but peculiar to internal Stark County Democratic politics.

Campbell, Reinbold and Harmon are the foremost Stark County politicians who make up the the Maier wing of the Stark County Democratic Party which at the moment happens to be the ascendant wing.

Collections like these are a signal to competitors such as Kim Perez (Stark County auditor), Gary Zeigler (Stark County treasurer), Todd Bosley (Stark County commissioner) and the organized labor factions of the local party that Maier is in full command.

Another dimension. As we all know, Stark County government is in fiscal crisis. Is this grouping connected to Stark County's financial crisis?

So perhaps, the question now becomes: Is this triumvirate (if elected, which all but assured), collecting themselves together to "rule the day" on how the crisis is resolved?
